We’re looking for someone who has:
- A passionate engineer who wants to use their skills to make a difference

- Site based experience and is willing to visit remote sites across the UK
- Design and advisory experience in a Civil Engineering, mining or related field
- Chartered Engineer with Civil Engineering experience
- Experience in the design and specification of civil, environmental and/or river engineering works and of CDM regulations

About The Role
We are looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer to help to resolve the impacts of historic mining through the application of your Civil Engineering skill and experience.
The areas of work will be in designing environmental interventions for historic metal and coal mine sites and supporting our statutory work by designing remediation schemes for ground instability and subsidence throughout the UK.
You will be part of the friendly and proactive Engineering Team which pride themselves on successes gained in their structured and mentored programme of ongoing CPD.

The role will require you to be able to be in the Mansfield office for a minimum of 1 day a week and to be able to undertake day trips or overnight trips to sites in across the UK on a regular, typically monthly, basis.

Our experience in engineering design is proven by many years of providing the critical information required to resolve complex Civil Engineering problems related to either ground stability or pollution. Some of our work takes us to remote natural environments such as the upper reaches of rivers in the Welsh mountains.
