Senior Civil Engineer

The Client:

The Role:
As a SeniorCivil Engineer, you will be producing high-quality designs, drawings, and reports using engineering materials, ensuring ease of verification by other team members.
Responsibilities:
-Efficiently manage resources for successful project outcomes.
-Lead teams in providing consultancy guidance, feasibility, outline, and detailed design, referencing relevant manuals and specifications.
-Undertake project design from inception to completion.
-Coordinate comprehensive site investigations, conduct inspections, and address issues as necessary.
-Manage junior Engineers and Technicians throughout the project design and delivery process.
-Provide leadership, mentoring, encouragement, and motivation to junior team members.
-Assist in recruitment, retention, and management of staff for successful client outcomes.
-Ensure financial control of projects when serving as a Project Manager.
-Identify and manage project risks, preparing risk assessments.
-Produce and approve single- and multi-discipline fee proposals, adhering to company procedures, terms, and client-specific contract requirements.
-Manage engineering teams to monitor and achieve utilisation and recovery targets.
Requirements:
-Previously worked as a Civil Engineer or in a similar role.
-Skilled in AutoCAD 2D Drafting, PDS Site Developer / Civil 3D, Flow / Micro-drainage or similar hydraulic design software, TEDDS, and other industry-recognised software.
-Ideally possess chartered membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers and/or the Institution of Structural Engineers.
