Our client is offering this exceptional opportunity to further your career through delivering quality engineering solutions and designs for commercial and industrial development projects which achieve and often exceed expectations. They deliver projects across multiple, niche sectors from residential housing developments, logistics, retail, aviation, healthcare, education, advanced manufacturing, data centres, energy and more.

The successful candidate will be working closely with the team Director and supporting the project lead. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of design/ drawing production to assist in the technical delivery of projects. You will also be a key mentor to junior colleagues and will be required to attend and contribute to project/ client meetings, assist with site inspections and surveys as required and undertake design tasks based on expert technical knowledge.

In order to be considered for this great opportunity, you will ideally be Chartered or able to demonstrate progress towards achieving a professional qualification (CEng) with either the ICE and/or the IStructE. You will have a broad building structures capability with a minimum of 7-8 years post graduate experience, as well as experience of undertaking building surveys and structural assessments. Previous experience of tall building (15+ stories) would be beneficial. You will need to be competent drawing, modelling and experienced in the application of relevant design software along with strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation and standards. Good commercial awareness and project management skills and experience are a must.
