Senior Civil Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to work on a permanent basis near Ormskirk/Hybrid.

The role will involve some overseas travel but you will received increase pay/benefits whilst overseas.

Salary is c£60-75,000 per annum plus 25 days holiday and bank holidays, company bonus, pension, healthcare, flexible working etc.

Our client is ideally seeking someone who is Chartered or Masters Degree level working towards chartered status.

Duties will include:

• The feasibility study work, CAPEX estimating, planning & project development for civil and Structural Engineering projects.
• The outline design and plant layout work, civil design services contract procurement work, technical query and contract management, and on-site construction management & inspection for civil and Structural Engineering works.
• Technical consultancy for the group manufacturing facilities around the world for civil and structural problems

Knowledge/Experience for the Senior Civil Structural Engineer:

* Geotechnics and Foundations design
* Reinforced Concrete and Structural Steel design
* Roads and drainage design
* Bulk Earthworks
* Preparation of Bills of measurement
* Internal building services (Lighting, HVAC, etc)
* Internal fit-out and finishing
* Inspection of on-site construction
* Preparation of budgets for design and construction elements
* Management of internal and external resources/contractors from feasibility to detailed design and then construction phases
