SalarySenior Civil Technician- required for a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bedford, who have been established for nearly 60 years and are part of an Employee Ownership Trust. The engineering technician will need to have experience of highways and drainage in the residential housing market. This role is become available due to expansion in the office and also future planned retirement so progression opportunities are available.

Senior Civil TechnicianPosition Overview
- Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning application
- Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications.
- Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of residential sites.
- Liaising directly with clients when necessary.
- Assist the creation of engineering base plans, including topographic surveys, utility mapping, and drainage layouts
- Detailed design work on residential sites.
- Attend meetings with Clients and local authorities
Senior Civil TechnicianPosition Requirements
- Living in or close to Bedford
- Experience working as an Engineering Technician
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
- Some knowledge of MicroStation
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Previous experience of civil engineering (particularly roads and drainage and
- within the residential sector).
- High level of technical awareness and accuracy in drawing.
