Job description

Hybrid working between home and an office base in Motherwell, you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive administrative support service, including personnel and finance duties and providing advice and assistance to the public on a full range of housing and property services.

Your main duties will include co-ordinating and scheduling inspections and repairs with contractors and members of the public. This will include co-ordination of appointed inspections and repairs via the use of Dynamic Resource Scheduling Tool /equivalent, invoicing, input to HSMS systems and retrieval of information, dealing with enquiries from customers, elected members and other service and general administrative support

You should be IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft computer packages together with moderate experience of working within a clerical or administrative environment. Excellent organisational and communication skills, both oral and written and a professional manner are essential. Self-motivated, you should have the ability to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

A working knowledge of HSMS and E-Financial systems and experience/knowledge of current housing or property related environment are desirable.

17.5 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday & alternate Wednesday

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
