About the role
In partnership with Plymouth City Council and the Real Ideas Organisation, we have a unique opportunity to be part of the ‘Devonport Futures’ project, which has received funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (on behalf of the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities), to deliver Resident Learning and work experience opportunities. This is aimed at developing innovative pathways that help people realise, grow and apply their talents, giving businesses the workforce they need.
The role will work with people aged 18+ that are either unemployed, seeking new or additional employment, or looking for progression and development. You will support participants with learning new skills, accessing residencies, work experience, volunteering and connections to employers by linking in with the opportunities created by Devonport 200th anniversary.
This is a full-time 8-month fixed term. The purpose of this role is to coordinate, implement and report on programmes which achieve the aims of the partnership.
Our ideal candidate for this role is someone who:
Is a highly motivated and creative individual, who is passionate about achieving the best services for residents.
Can maximise the opportunities for residents to take part in learning and development courses and programmes, both accredited and non-accredited; achieving a nurturing and stimulating environment for resident successes.
Is a highly organised and IT competent person who can coordinate fast moving service delivery, and manage the recording, monitoring, measuring and reporting of Resident Learning activities.
