Key Responsibilities of a Senior Clinical Case Manager:
- Providing advice in line with the latest clinical guidance, ensuring customers receive the right clinical decision
- Supporting colleagues and customers by taking front-line escalated medical queries and managing complex and challenging cases
- Liaising with healthcare professionals by phone and email to ensure we have all the information required for complex medical claims
- Reviewing escalated complaints and making recommendations for improvements to the healthcare offering
- Managing complex cases and continually seeking ways to improve the service and support offered
Key Skills and Experience of a Senior Clinical Case Manager:
- A clinical background or healthcare experience is required
- You should have an understanding of common medical terminology
- You should be passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping those with their medical needs
- Cert CII qualification within probation and CPD maintained in accordance with CII requirements is required (if not a medical qualification needs to be completed)
- Excellent change-management, problem-solving and organisational skills is necessary
