Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - 6-month contract - £350pd Inside IR35

We are currently looking for A senior Cloud Engineer to come and join one of our best clients on their migration journey

You will work closely with the team and be responsible for the support, change/enhancement, maintenance of IT Services that enable the company IT to deliver strategic IT services.

Working on projects to future-proof the digital services, enabling other team members across the organisation to operate effectively on modern technology platforms. It will also include working with other areas of the IT & Digital Division to modernise public services, digitising the engagement with clients

As part of the Cloud Engineering team, this role will focus on working to deploy, migrate and manage the Cloud Platform on Azure. This will involve working on business projects to help design and build systems on Azure

The role:

• Working as part of the new migration team to develop and implement their new systems
• Building, maintaining and monitoring of Azure Infrastructure- and Platform-as-a-Service environments, including building resilient and highly available services
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Migrating on-premise systems to Azure, such as SQL database applications and web-based applications.
• Strategizing and executing changes in compliance with established policies and processes.
• Documenting procedures, processes, and both high- and low-level designs.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience with Azure including on-premisis on-site migration, VMs, Azure AD/ SSO/ CA & Networking
• You will have an excellent working knowledge of virtual environments- in particular Azure, Hyper-V- Build / Support and administration.
• Experience with dynamics 365
• Proficiency in collaborative work within small teams with specialized roles
• Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of IT platforms
