Senior Commercial Account Handler

Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Account Handler role on behalf of a well-established Broker, based in London.

As a Senior Commercial Account Handler, you offer a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new clients. This involves providing quotations on all types of Commercial Insurance, via the telephone, using e-trade systems, face to face or in writing, placing cover when instructed, inviting, and confirming renewals and dealing with mid-term adjustments, and where appropriate looking after claims.

Responsibilities:

• To service and administer a portfolio of commercial insurance clients in a timely, professional, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
• To identify and convert growth opportunities from referrals, cross-selling, new client sourcing and proactive sales activity.
• To build effective working relationships with both clients, insurers, and service providers
• To work and operate within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues for the benefit of both clients and the business.
• Providing new business quotations on request, providing relevant advice, information and guidance

Experience Required:

• Broking experience
• Knowledge of insurance classes
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, particularly over the phone.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise your workload.
• Used Acturis computer system in the past (not essential)
