Job description

Liberty is a property services provider to public, domestic and commercial clients across the UK. Established in 1969, we offer professional gas installation, maintenance and servicing, as well as energy solutions, electrical installations and property building and maintenance services.

The role offers the choice to be based and work out of any one of our Northern Offices in Salford, Knowsley or Ellesmere Port.

Joining us as the Senior Commercial Manager, you will be accountable for the risk and opportunity management for the life cycle of all our contracts from bidding to close.  These include contracts for one off construction projects, including some exciting decarbonisation opportunities, and a variety of high value & long-term maintenance services (heating & compliance and repairs & maintenance services).

This position would suit a driven Senior Commercial Manager looking for the next step in their career, taking ownership and responsibility for the seamless transition from pre-contract to contract close.

A key role within the Liberty team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial and quantity surveying teams across Liberty to fulfil the commercial strategies, maximising contract profitability and mitigating risk.

You will develop and maintain strong working relationships, both with internal stakeholders and external clients, and have the ability to lead and manage multiple projects at the same time.

With proven experience in a similar role and a degree in quantity surveying or commercial management, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and will have the ability to deliver on the key organisational objectives.
