Senior Communications Engagement Officer

The way we deliver our Communications Engagement campaigns at South Tyneside Council is changing and we need a Senior Communications Engagement Officer to help us. Following a peer review, the Communications Team are refocusing to do things differently and reshape our team to best provide communication support in delivering our 20-year Vision for our residents. This newly created post will be part of the communications management team and will be critical in helping us to achieve our aspiration of communicating the best that we can.
If you are passionate about running campaigns that achieve engagement from all communities – including those communities that are seldom heard; have ideas around how to engage our talented dispersed staff across many diverse services; have extensive experience of leading a team to create brand building content to engage with a variety of audiences across multiple channels; we would love to hear from you.
