A highly reputable Investment Management firm are looking for a Senior Compensation Accountant to join their Finance team on a 12-month FTC. The company manages over £20 billion of assets across a range of global and regional equity and multi-asset strategies.
  
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the main purpose of this role is to ensure the correct accurate accounting treatment of the share-based payments arrangements.
  
Your Role
  
  • Ensuring the accounting treatment, across all entities, for the share-based payment arrangements are correct and comply with local financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Preparing the share-based payments for the financial statements.
  • Completing the Accountancy work for all equity compensation schemes.
  • Working closely with the tax and regulatory teams, ensuring everything is accurate.
  • Assisting with half year-end and year-end Group reporting requirements.
  • Helping the finance team with other work as required.
  
Your Skills and Qualifications
  
  • Qualified Accountant with experience in compensation/remuneration accounting including share-based payments and deferred equity.
  • Strong demonstrated IFRS 2 knowledge.
  • The ability to successfully adapt and implement change, with excellent organisational skills.
  • First class analytical skills and attention to detail.
