Senior Consultant – HR (Reward)
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and talented individual to join our HR team as a Senior Consultant, HR (Reward). This is a new role and is offered on a permanent basis, and we will consider full or part time working.
The Role
Reporting to a Principal Consultant, HR this is a pivotal role within the HR team responsible for delivering and supporting our commercial consultancy services in our high demand HR service, and will be key in supporting growth in this fast paced and responsive work area.
In this role you will take clients briefs, write proposals, and prepare bids for work, deliver significant projects as well as resourcing our bureau service and ad hoc work to meet our clients' needs.
You will be part of a dedicated, professional and supportive team working in a hybrid way but with well appointed offices in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, for valuable team time, as well as the need to travel to client locations across the West Midlands Region.
This is a client facing role in which you will proactively deliver the products WME offer including the design and promotion of marketing materials, relationship management and HR network support.
The HR team, of which you’ll be part of delivers;
- A whole range of HR advice to Councils, schools and other public sector clients
- Job evaluation and pay and grading services
- National work on specific projects including data mapping and Coaching and Mentoring
- Equality impact assessments and equal pay audits
- Service redesign
About you
We are looking for someone who has experience of providing a customer facing service to the highest of standards and can demonstrate excellent consultation skills to deliver effective approaches and solutions for clients
As someone who is energized by working collaboratively and building strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues, you will have the ability to flex and adapt your approach to your audience and the needs of the organisation. You will have experience of working within HR, ideally in a reward setting, this will be supported by excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and numerical skills, project management and commercial acumen.
