Senior Content Writer - Galway - Permanent
Salary: €40k DOE
Here at Manpower we are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading industrial distributor for a Senior Content Writer.
We are seeking a skilled, innovative, and enthusiastic individual to support our team in conducting research and crafting unique content for our websites. Additionally, the role involves developing customer documentation, such as catalogues, brochures, and marketing materials.
Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update company websites and customer portals by adding new products and removing discontinued items.
• Write clear, concise, and compelling product descriptions to drive sales.
• Contribute to content calendar by researching industry topics for blog posts and articles.
• Ensure website accuracy by reviewing and updating product descriptions, identifying obsolete items.
• Collaborate with marketing team on social media content creation.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to maximize product visibility.
• Produce customer-specific texts, catalogues, brochures, and marketing materials within deadlines.
• Proofread and review content produced by Content and Marketing teams.
• Collaborate with designers on website and social media graphics.
• Develop training and educational materials as needed.

Skills & Experience:

• 2-3 years' copywriting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, or Business.
• Fluent English speaker with strong attention to detail and grammar.
• Ability to write about technical subjects for diverse audiences.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Magento, and PIM applications.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword research.
• Familiarity with Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator) is advantageous.
• Self-directed with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
