Description
- Leading and managing all Corporate Tax matters
- Implementing tax strategies in line with the company's objectives
- Corporation tax planning and forecasting/ modelling to ensure an efficient approach
- Maintain controls during periods of increased capital expenditure.
- Ensuring compliance with tax legislation and reporting requirements
- Advising on tax implications of business decisions and strategies by supervising and developing the Corporate Tax Advisor.
- Completion/review of tax returns for submission to HMRC and dealing with related queries.
- Tax accounting and reporting for management and statutory purposes including tax consolidations
- Providing guidance and support to the wider finance team on tax-related matters
- Keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and industry practices
Profile
A successful candidate should have:
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent)
- Experience in a tax role of a similar nature
- Experience working within an asset heavy business will be highly beneficial
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting and legislation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Measured approach and strong leadership/development abilities
- Able to commute to Reading 2/3 times per week
- Available to start within the next few weeks
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £90,000 - £110,000 per annum
