Senior Cost Planner

Fawkes and Reece are currently assisting an award-winning main contractor with their search for an experienced Senior Cost Planner to join their successful Surrey-based team. Reporting to the Cost Planning Director - our client are seeking an individual who can demonstrate a stable employment track-record working for UK main contractors/developers - working across a range of project sectors.Duties IncludeProduction of Client's Budgets.Produce and develop detailed Cost Plans.Attend Design Team meetings.Produce and issue Tender Documentation.Analyse Tender returns and prepare reports to Clients.Implement and manage both Single Stage and 2 Stage procurement processes.Develop Value Engineering processes with the Client and Design Team.Prepare contract documentation for projects.Produce Client Cost Reports.Implement Change Control procedures, monitor design changes and advise the Client of cost implications.Agree variations with Contractors.Undertake interim valuations and agree with Contractor's QS.Manage and Report on Client's cash flow.Have an awareness of the concept of Risk apportionment through various contract types.Prepare and Agree final accounts with Contractors.Mentor and assist with the professional development of junior members of the Cost Planning Team.Actively Market and Develop the Cost Management Brand.Assist with winning work at the appropriate margin level.For more information apply today or call Anthony at Fawkes and Reece in London
