The Director of Retail, Visual Merchandising and Brand Design
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Olivia Burton Brand asset creation across digital, print, social & paid, from concept to delivery
Create and maintain a high-end commercial brand visual identity for Olivia Burton
Responsible for producing the concept mood boards & explorative creative ideas & development for product model and still life shoots for new watch & jewellery launches and key seasonal events
Autonomously managing the pre-shoot product planning, scheduling & test set design with external teams
Supporting on the styling/ wardrobing pre-shoot
Managing the creative art direction on still life and model shoots
Full responsibility for the post-production of images & video (selects & retouching notes, editing images, crops, guidelines)
The ability to take on feedback regarding concepts/ ideas
Manage the design of brand guidelines and key campaign toolkits
Support the team throughout the execution of all graphic and digital design assets
Research and stay on top of visual & market trends and produce conceptual designs and decks to present to the wider teams and management
Working closely with internal Design, Product & Marketing teams to highlight the key product focus for each product collection
Support the Design Manager and help to mentor Junior members of the team
Work proactively and use own initiative to ensure all jobs are completed and any critical dates and tight deadlines are met

Strong layout, typographic, visualising and retouching skills
Willingness to learn new skills and assist and grow within the design team

Strong ability to work autonomously
Requirements
3+ years’ in a fashion retail design environment, with a solid understanding of commercial requirements
Significant, demonstratable experience being part of a creative team, for accessories, fashion, retail or beauty Brands (in-house or agency)
Experience on or managing still life and model photoshoots
Experience with managing & working with photographers, set designers & re-touchers
Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
Strong Knowledge in XD, After Effects & Premiere Pro
Experience and knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite apps a bonus
Experience in setting up and exporting print and digital assets correctly
Illustrative skills for new prints and designs a bonus
