Senior Credit Controller

Robert Half are recruiting a Senior Credit Control Clerk on a permanent basis with a business based in Chippenham. This position would suit someone with 5+ years experience within credit control.

The role

The Senior Credit Control clerk will be responsible for supporting another member of the team, and taking the lead on managing responsibilities, deadlines and tasks on a daily basis. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Managing bad debt and reducing debtor days.
• Liaising with suppliers and clients by phone and email.
• Working closely with the other credit control clerk to manage deadlines and workload.
• Working closely with the wider business to report on cash flow and support with cash flow forecasting.
• Highlight any potential risks to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients.

Profile

This role would suit someone with 5+ years credit control experience seeking a step up in terms of responsibility, or someone looking to gain experience with a new business. You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable with communicating by phone and email with clients/suppliers, as well as in person with internal stakeholders.

Benefits

• £25,000 - £30,000 base salary.
• Hybrid working with up to 3 days from home.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
• Hours: 9-5.
