CLD Recruitment are working with one of the UK's leading developer of purpose-built rental communities who are looking for an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their team. This role would suit somebody who can work under pressure with the ability to prioritise and manage high workloads. Understanding of a property's PPM and compliance requirements.
Senior Credit Controller
* Monitor and allocate resident payments
* Manage debtors and pursue any outstanding payments in a timely manner via email, telephone and letter, following company procedures
* Negotiate and track resident payment plans
* Prepare debtors reports for internal and for external stakeholder use
* Present arrears status to internal and external parties
* Issue legal letters- 7 Day/ 14 Day/ 21 Day to resident.
* Internal legal escalation process on 2 months + arrears
* Provide reporting/ analysis on Amber Energy Debt
* Communicate with solicitors and external bodies to implement debt recovery process
* Manage debt for commercial units
* Recharge energy to commercial units
* Document and prepare supporting evidence for use in legal proceedings
* Liaise with internal sales and lettings team to identify, allocate and resolve issues surrounding outstanding payments
* Complete account reconciliation's
* Overseeing credit approval process prior to tenancy being agreed
* Advise on terms and conditions of financial agreements
* Flag any system/ process concerns
Skills Required
* Senior Level Credit Control experience
* Ability to generate and maintain positive client relationships internally and externally
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and accounting software programs
* Experience in reconciling accounts
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Attention to detail
* Confident in presenting debt figures
