We are now recruiting a Senior Credit Controller to join our team.
Required to assist in the day-to-day operations of the credit control department to ensure that all accounts are paid in accordance with the customers payment terms.
About The Role
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1) Set up new Customers on AX – Credit Check – Insurance Application and ensure that all customer details are correct.
2) Telephone / E-mail customers to ensure debt collected within the agreed payment terms – recording all actions on Customer Account.
3) Continual Monitoring of credit accounts with closure of unused accounts.
4) Monitor overdue accounts and prompt remedial action as required.
5) Legal recovery of unpaid debts where appropriate.
6) Liaison with credit insurers.
7) Effectively dealing with customer account queries, including liaising with other departments, i.e., despatch, sales etc to ensure that they are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
8) Liaise with the Sales Team regarding Credit matters.
9) Daily Posting and allocating of payment received.
10) Preparation of Cash / Cheque Lodgements
11) Weekly / Monthly Sales Invoicing / Statement Print
12) Bank Reconciliations
13) Ensure and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
14) Reception Cover
15) Manage and record Petty Cash
16) Ledger Maintenance
17) Any other duties and tasks commensurate with the role and/or as required by the Manager within your capabilities.

Required Criteria
- At least 2 years previous experience of supervising/managing busy credit control office preferably within the construction industry
Desired Criteria
- Relevant third level education
- Credit Management qualification
