A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Senior Credit Controller who is well versed in collecting debt via the telephone and who can clearly demonstrate reducing aged debt.
This role will suit someone who enjoys tackling credit control and someone who can demonstrate tenacity and persistence in chasing debt.
Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Leading from the front in collecting overdue payments from customers, via the telephone, email .
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and external parties such as credit reporting agencies and legal advisors.
• Negotiating payment terms and agreements with customers.
• Generating regular reports on credit performance, aging receivables and bad debt provision. Analysing trends and providing insights to management for decision making purposes.
• Working closely with finance teams cash flow by minimising overdue accounts receivable and maximising collections.

You will be/have:

• Solid experience within credit control and be able to demonstrate your collection techniques and achievements.
• Ideally leadership skills to lead and support a small team of credit controllers.
• Able to demonstrate you have worked and are comfortable working in a fast paced environment, ideally within a shared service function.
• Proactive, resilient and hands on in the role.
