SENIOR CREDIT RISK ANALYST
UP TO £40,000
REMOTE / NORTHWEST ENGLAND
This is an exciting new opportunity to join this company's Credit Risk team and take responsibility for Credit Risk management across the entire customer journey. You will be responsible for reviewing credit policy across all lending products and channels, as well as reporting and analysing lending performance across portfolios to drive strategy.

THE ROLE
You will be doing the following daily:
- Support the Head of Credit in producing Credit Risk policy and strategy. You will carry out credit scoring to support the business' growth ambitions while ensuring that control of credit quality and performance is controlled.
- Perform regular credit reporting and analysis to monitor and sustain performance of portfolios.
- Identify improvements within policies and procedures to drive strategy.
- Develop and implement Credit Risk MI to ensure that monitoring of all Credit Risk strategies is constant and effective.
- Design champion/challenger tests to continue improvements and growth in lending strategies.
- Implement credit strategy into credit decision systems.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Excellent data interpretation, manipulation, and analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Skills in SQL, SAS, Python, or R.
- Previous experience working in the Credit Risk space, in MI, strategy, portfolio, or scoring.
- Strong numeracy skills with a degree in a numerical subject.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
