This is an exciting opportunity with a challenger bank in the UK who are looking to bring in a Senior Credit Risk Modeller who will have the opportunity to get hands-on working with the team and taking ownership of the model development cycle.
The role will focus on working with IFRS 9 and Origination models on the development, implementation, and maintenance. You will be proving technical expertise to deliver risk models across the team.
The role will also be able to support on the development and validation of non-risk related models to aid in decision making at the modelling forums.
They are looking for an individual who has
- Experience developing models in SAS
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, or a similar quantitative background
- Knowledge of the IFRS 9 regulations
- Someone with the drive to get hands-on building models
- High level of attention to detail enabling the production of analyses with a consistently high degree of accuracy
