Senior Customs Manager

Are you a "Customs Guru" with bonded warehouse experience?
Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to be supporting their retail giant in the search for a mid/Senior Customs expert to help them remain compliant with HMRC and maintain their Bonded Warehouse status.

Key deliverables of the role:

• Responsible for completing critical fundamental tasks to ensure compliance with HMRC and maintain Bonded Warehouse status
• Day-to-day management of stock being processed, covering receipts and removals using the Duty Management Software and supporting systems (Dispatcher, Oracle, MyMaersk)
• Ensure the CFSP Warehousing rules are followed, monitored and audited
• Investigating & resolving any Warehouse CFSP queries
• Ensure inventory discrepancies are investigated, flagged and resolved
• Creating clear audit trails that are documented and filed when reviewing - HTS Codes, Import & Export Entries using MSS Data and the HMRC Website
• Review and action internal Data Governance reports

Skills / Knowledge:

• Highly analytical
• Solid Import customs knowledge
• CFSP & CDS knowledge
• Knowledge of Customs Warehouse

It goes without saying you must be available to start work immediately.
This can be EITHER a FTC or day rate inside IR35 - duration expected up to 6 months
This role can operate from either the North West OR the Midlands to suit the successful candidate.
