We are delighted to be working with a highly respected Ipswich–based client, who are searching for a
Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join their team. The
Senior Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for leading the development and presentation of
Cyber Security Recommendations, overseeing a high–performing team, and providing top–tier technical support, ensuring the prompt handling of IT security tasks using a ticketing system. This role also entails expertise in utilizing various tools, conducting penetration tests, and documenting security breaches to maintain the organization's robust information security posture.
Main Area of Responsibilities:- Utilize tools such as ConnectWise Automate, Intune, Defender, ESET, Azure, Firewalls, SIEM, Nessus/Tenable.IO.
- Oversee Cyber Security, risk management, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials Plus.
- Organize annual penetration tests and document security breaches.
- Track and identify threats and vulnerabilities across networks and systems.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to secure computing networks and systems.
Additional Duties:- Update knowledge base and SOPs.
- Support remote sites and onsite users.
- Attend information security conferences.
Qualifications:- Knowledge of CISPP certifications or working towards qualification
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Exposure to Cyber Security Essentials in previous role
- Recognized ICT qualifications i.e. CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure, etc.
