We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead analytical work on a significant financial information project. This role is essential for enabling users to access their financial information online, supporting better planning and decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for scenario modelling, risk metrics, and supporting the impact measurement of the programme.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and manage analysis for the financial information project, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and deliver analysis of complex data sets to inform project delivery, making recommendations based on your analysis.
- Support the day-to-day rollout of the project work, such as identifying which administrators to contact.
- Identify the most appropriate analytical tools, data, and inferences to develop insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in R or Python, and Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience evaluating data sources for suitability, reliability, and accuracy.
- Experience manipulating big data and understanding the contents and structure of complex data warehouses.
- Strong communication skills to disseminate complex analysis to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Desirable:
- Basic understanding of the UK financial industry.
- Practitioner level knowledge of Git and GitHub.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, and AGILE or Dev/Data Ops workflow methodologies.
