Job Purpose:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing analytic support to key business areas, delivering valuable management information and insights to internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities include conducting statistical analysis, deriving insights, managing and designing the reporting environment, and fostering a data-driven culture within their organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake simple and complex statistical analysis of diverse data sets.
• Derive insights and present findings to stakeholders, utilising tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and others.
• Design the reporting environment, identify areas for efficiency improvement, and establish automated data processes.
• Create data visualisations to enhance understanding of trends, outliers, and patterns.
• Manage complex data-related projects, including data modeling and forecasting.
• Support ad-hoc requests for data and ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Protection Act.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and enhance data literacy across the organisation.

Experience Required:

• Extensive experience in a Management Information/Analyst role using Cognos Business Analytic or Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel, and SQL.
• Proven experience working effectively with stakeholders, including senior executives and technical specialists.
• Ideally, experience with SQL server, Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Oracle databases, and data warehouses.
• Highly desirable experience with Alteryx and familiarity with R and/or Python programming language.
