Are you an experienced Data Analyst with a background in e-commerce and marketing?

The Company:

This market leading e-commerce company are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their team. They are a privately owned business, with its core focus on the online retail of books, media and technology products to customers across the globe. They are now expanding their Data and Insights team with the addition of a Senior Data Analyst.

In this position you will be responsible for leveraging the vast amount of data they hold about their products, customers and competitors and using it to perform continual analysis, data mining and trend spotting to improve the product offering, revenue optimisation and customer experience.

The Role:

• Understand the channels of customer acquisition and help calculate the ROI/attribution of each channel to desired outcomes.
• Help to create insight and understanding of customer shopping behaviour through the customer purchase funnel and understand which products are driving conversion for different customer segments.
• Work with marketing and promotional teams from the beginning of conversations about new product launches and promotional activities to setup tracking and performance measures to help judge the success of initiatives.
• Understand the current dashboards which show key customer behaviours across the different web/app properties the business operates. Begin a journey of amending and improving the dashboards to improve insight into customer behaviour and help to produce data driven recommendations to achieve short/medium-term objectives.

The Candidate:

• 4+ years' experience working in a similar position, Ideally working for a brand, ecommerce business or marketing company to ensure that you can hit the ground running.
• Previous experience working with pricing data such as ROI, Revenue Optimization or Similar work.
• Solid experience using SQL for cleansing and manipulating data.
• Experience using Excel for Macros and VBA.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics.
• Experience using Data Visualisation tools such Tableau or PowerBI.
