Key Requirements:
- Active or eligible for SC Clearance (e.g., SC, DV, NPPV). To be eligible for SC clearance, you must have been a continuous resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
- 5+ years' experience in the field
- Motivated to deliver high-quality outcomes in all assignments.
- Data Analysis: Help teams apply a range of methods to analyse research data, synthesise findings and advise on the choice and application of techniques.
- Data management: Drive data governance and data management standards and guidelines, improve data management practice within the team and automate data management activities where appropriate.
- Data modelling: Build and review complex data models, use data integration tools to integrate and store data, ensure analysis meets data quality standards, and help to improve modelling and integration standards.
- Data Quality Assurance: Set up a system to get data ready for use, bring data together from various sources and show how the data should be cleansed and prepared.
- Data Visualisation: Demonstrable experience across a variety of data visualisation tools and techniques, support more junior team members and establish processes, standards and templates for others to follow.
- Communication: Work closely with technical and business stakeholders, interpret their needs and effectively manage stakeholder's expectations.
- Leadership: Be able to share knowledge and experience of various tools and techniques and oversee projects within the data analytics team.
You may have one or more of the following technical skills:
- Proficiency with SQL
- BI Solutions - Tableau, Qlik, Looker, Power BI
- Cloud Platforms and their associated data services
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the UK Public Sector, including adherence to the "Service Manual" and "Service Standard."
- Scrum agile coaching experience.
- Product owner or proxy product owner experience.
- Waterfall project delivery experience.
- Active contributor to communities of practice.
