We are working with an established industry leader looking for a talented Senior Data Scientist to join their analytics team during an exciting growth phase. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and identify opportunities to apply statistical modelling and machine learning to optimise performance. Your analyses and insights will directly inform strategic planning, projects, and operational improvements. As a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist, you will develop predictive models leveraging machine learning to guide key business decisions. Mining their data to uncover trends and insights that drive strategy and planning will be a critical part of your role. We need someone who can clearly communicate technical findings and recommendations to senior non-technical audiences. You will support the adoption of a data-driven culture through training and application across the business. Automating reporting and dashboards with BI tools to enable real-time data insights will also be key. We are looking for someone who can collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between analytics and business goals.
To be successful in this position, you will need strong data science skills including SQL, Python, and statistical modelling experience. We need someone who has the ability to simplify complex concepts and tell compelling data stories to influence stakeholders. You should have self-motivation and curiosity to explore datasets and dig deeper to uncover key insights. We want someone with a passion for guiding businesses using the power of data and analytics. The ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and tactical data initiatives with agility is crucial in this role.
