We are actively seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to become part of the Data Platform Team at a prominent player in the insurance industry. What you’ll be doing
- Develop and maintain complex data architectures, including advanced databases and large-scale processing systems.
- Build sophisticated data streams to enhance analytical capabilities and support decision-making processes.
- Design and implement robust data frameworks for efficient data extraction, transformation and loading.
- Lead the way in automation and optimisation of data processes.
- With their recent adoption of Snowflake, you'll be at the forefront of leveraging data for innovation, solution evolution, and advancing strategic goals.
- Proven track record as a Data Engineer.
- Expertise in programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) and proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- DBT for transformations and modelling.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools like Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow.
- Proficient in utilising cloud computing services.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of demystifying complex technical topics for a diverse audience.
