A Senior Data Engineer is needed to take the lead in designing, constructing, installing, testing and maintaining highly scalable data management systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring systems meet business requirements and industry practices within the Technology & Telecoms industry.

Description
The successful Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Developing data set processes for data modelling, mining and production.
- Designing, constructing, installing, testing and maintaining data management systems.
- Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies to optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
- Collaborating with teams in the analytics department to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Promoting and executing data governance across the organisation.
Profile
A successful Senior Data Engineer will be able to demonstrate:
- Previously worked as a Data Engineer, Software Developer or similar.
- Previously worked on building Data warehouse's / Data Lakes in either Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Strong knowledge of big data infrastructures and tools.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
