This is a new Senior Data Engineer role, working for a rapid scaling techstartup backed by major investors. Using Python and the latest Data science methodology, You will oversee the data platform that underpins an intelligent B2BSaaS solution that is changing the world for the better. This is a senior role, mentoring the junior engineers. £65k to £90k - UK / Remote.

The Senior Data Engineer is a prestigious role in the Data Engineering team, responsible for a robust data platform deployed across multiple cloud platforms such as google and Azure globally .

You will need a strong understanding of data workflows and orchestration to design, deploy, and optimise data pipelines and big data solutions.

Responsible for:

• Data security
• Compliance with global data privacy laws
• Multi-cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) for optimal data management and processing
• Disaster recovery and business continuity for the data platform
• Responsible for guiding the engineering team instilling a culture of continuous learning and development
• Guiding the Data Platform roadmap and strategy
• Agile methodology
