Senior Data Engineer

Description

The successful Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Leading the design and implementation of robust data systems.
• Managing a team of Data Engineers to execute data projects.
• Collaborating with data scientists to improve data quality for advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Developing data set processes for data modelling, mining and production.
• Ensuring data architecture will support the requirements of the business.
• Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements.
• Working closely with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues

Profile

A successful Senior Data Engineer should have:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer or similar.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and management principles.
• Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles.
• Knowledge of Microsoft stack, Cloud, Azure.
• Knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
