As a Senior Brand Designer, you will wield creativity as your primary tool, shaping and refining brands through the lens of innovation and strategic vision.
Instrumental in the creation of Future Brands, you will:
- Deliver exceptional and insightful creative solutions for your clients.
- Understand every aspect of your client’s business; show a real passion for their brand and the industry.
- Lead creative conversations and contribute to strategic ideas. Ensuring that you have have a good understanding of the chosen idea and are able to confidently interpret it, using it as a springboard to create strong, differentiated brand solutions.
- Help define and work in line with client strategy across several clients. Able to clearly articulate the strategy and thinking behind the work and document this where appropriate.
- Truly understand your clients business.
- Understand how all projects are part of the bigger brand strategy.
- Steer and shape the project process, providing relevant reference points from inside and outside the category.
- Inspiring and fuelling discussions and creating an open and honest relationship with your clients.
- Have a point of view and develop processes to deliver a more connected brand experience.
- Be confident and passionate when talking about the wider FutureBrand Group offer to clients.
- Continue to champion creativity and inspire the team by sharing trends and innovative campaigns. Seen as a thought leader, you develop and drive projects.
- Provoke and push creative boundaries, bring ideas and influences from the outside world to create connected brand experiences. Do things that inspire you. Research creative work beyond advertising. Visit galleries and exhibitions.
- Embrace creative discussions with your colleagues in Strategy and Client Service. Able to constructively provoke and encourage positive collaboration both within the team and across teams with the sole purpose to produce the best work.

- You are able to effectively manage upwards and downwards when the situation requires escalation or delegation.
- You lead and inspire several designers over a variety of briefs. You use your experience to advise the teams on how to shape and deliver their work demonstrating your experience and being seen as a leader in the team.
- Leverage your experience and skills to ensure effective conversations - even if they aren’t always that easy.
- Assist with and guide the development of those under your care. Share the skills you have gained by mentoring other team members, both in creative and beyond and advise on how to shape and deliver great work.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative and energized atmosphere in which positive disruption is encouraged.
- Develop relationships with your peers within the wider FutureBrand Group, CMG, MWG and IPG.
Nurture the growth and health of your clients business, you will;
- Clearly communicate strategic-led creative ideas through the creative process to deliver on a project brief that delights clients, in budget, on time
- Understand what makes great work and be passionate about it. When you review work, you’ll have the confidence to trust your gut and offer a unique point of view.
- Defend the work passionately and understand how and when to push back on the client. Able to clearly and articulately explain and constructively defend an idea to clients.
- You experiment with new approaches and create new opportunities within projects to develop our offer and broaden / deepen our relationships with clients.
- Constantly be aware of the time allocated to you and more junior members of the team and be in fluid conversations with the creative services manager and client servicing.
- You ensure that your work and ideas will be practical and impactful.
- You build compelling and impactful case studies to promote us & our work to the wider design community.
- You may begin to lead smaller pitches, motivating and inspiring more junior creatives.
