A Global Retail Provider are seeking a Senior Digital Architect to join their Enterprise Architecture team in Milton Keynes to provide the visionary behind the architecture of their digital channels, focusing on architecting customer facing experiences in an omni-channel environment. The Senior Digital Architect will need to demonstrate experience in developing the digital roadmap for highly successful brands and be able to bring the knowledge to deliver a market leading cross platform digital experience for the customer.
Responsibilities for the Senior Digital Architect:
- Operating at a senior level with extensive stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Lead the Digital Architectural direction, own the digital channel architecture and roadmap to include all online platforms ensuring a market leading omni-channel customer experience.
- Architecting and implementing Digital Channel architectures in an enterprise retail or similar business.
- Provide technical leadership when collaborating with the wider Architecture team, Solution Architects, Technical Architects, development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making.
- Leading Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
- Direct the input into the selection of vendor solutions, document architecture designs, standards and continuous improvement and ensuring knowledge transfer across the team.
- Identifying emerging technologies and digital trends that could enhance the digital offerings.
- Performance optimisation using tools for web and mobile applications.
- Total cost ownership of IT assets and functions.
- Problem solving customer digital experiences.
- Security protocols, data protection, and compliance frameworks relevant to digital channels to ensure the design and implementation of secure solutions.
