A successful, stable, growing specialist lender who’ve been providing full lifecycle Development Finance to house builders and developers for nearly 80 years, alongside other competitive business and personal lending and deposit products.

The Role

In this senior position you will generate new and manage existing clients, by originating and transacting Property Development Finance business, whilst mitigating risks via effective loan structuring and ongoing portfolio management.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a proven track record in UK Development Finance, ideally with broader property finance experience, within a UK bank or similar.
• Be relationship and new business focused with a strong relevant introducer network.
• Have demonstrable experience of credit stewardship, debt structuring, negotiation and sales.
• Be a team player, who is comfortable working for a dynamic and fast paced bank.

Summary of main responsibilities:

• Identify and win new Development Finance business within credit policy and lending appetite to meet business objectives.
• Manage and develop your portfolio, meeting growth, income and performance targets.
• Write and submit credit applications to credit committee and with support, manage the transaction through to completion.
• Provide support and expertise to the business, in areas such as product development, lending guidelines and risk management.
