We are currently looking to hire a Senior EIA Consultant to join our fantastic team, which is a brand new role within our company. The role is a full-time position based in our London (Farringdon) office, but we also encourage a balance of working from our office and working from home.

The Role
We currently require a Senior EIA Consultant, or somebody ready to make the step up to senior consultant, with appropriate qualifications and at least 3 years’ experience, to join our growing and reputable team at Logika.
Our new team member will assist in coordinating environmental inputs to large-scale infrastructure and major development projects, such as:
- Aviation
- Renewable power generation projects - including solar, hydrogen and wind
- Property development - including commercial, residential, industrial and healthcare development
There will also be the opportunity to work on projects requiring Strategic Environmental Assessment.
You will work with a range of internal technical environmental specialists and designers to manage environmental inputs to project designs and assessments. This will include from early strategy development, through feasibility, outline design, to detailed design and discharging of conditions. You will have the opportunity to work within various consenting regimes, including Development Consent Orders. You will also be expected to liaise with clients and sub-consultants and help to prepare fee proposals, and author environmental reports and EIA documentation.
It is the philosophy of Logika that the role of an environmental consultant should be to ensure that environmental issues are at the heart of development design. Therefore, it is of importance that you are confident when engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups and should be able to work effectively with technical environmental specialists and design teams to embed ecological design solutions into development proposals.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- A relevant environmental degree level qualification in EIA, or similar
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of EIA processes and relevant UK legislation
- Good understanding of a range of technical environmental disciplines
- Experience of producing environmental reports and EIA documentation (including screening and scoping reports, and Environmental Statements), ideally across different development sectors
- Excellent verbal and report writing skills, including technical reviewing with an eye for detail
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of an established team, coordinating inputs from specialist technical teams
- Confidence when engaging with a wide variety of stakeholder groups • Awareness of financial control and project management
- Experience in bid preparation activities
- Achieved or demonstrably working towards Chartered Environmental Status and Full membership of IEMA, or similar qualification with a relevant professional body
