My client is a multidisciplined Engineering consultancy, whose sustainability practices help them move towards their goal of Zero Carbon on the various projects they work on across a range of sectors. My client is looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to report to their offices in Solihull.
A Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for working in a large team, taking the lead on projects, and attending principal meetings. The role also entails increasing the technical excellence within the electrical engineering team, as well as working on a variety of exciting projects across a range of sectors. The role also includes being involved with all stages of development from inception to completion, whilst carrying out client presentations as well as being client facing, and becoming the key point of contact
Requirements for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer include:
- Strong Experience within a design role in Building Services
- BEng or MEng within an Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Experience in Relux, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit
- CIBSE or IET membership
- Strong understanding of HV/LV systems and BREEAM
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
