Senior Electrical Estimator - To £45K

Ourclient is widely recognized as a leading Northern Ireland ElectricalContracting company. With an excellent reputation and a strong order book, theynow wish to recruit a Senior Electrical Estimator to join their team.

You willjoin an existing team working on a broad range of electrical engineering projectswithin the Construction Industry across UK & Ireland.

KEY DUTIE

Develop and maintain goodrelationships with industry networks & clients.

·Ensure that all estimating processesand procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlementincluding timely and accurate submission of tenders

·Effectively undertake Tender Enquiryactivities in line with Company Processes, including commercial/technical aspectswhile maintaining non-collusive policy at all times.

·Maintaining tender records andcorrespondence.

·Drive improvement through regular preand post project evaluations meeting and updates.

·Responsible for winning new tendersand bringing new projects to the business.

·Work closely with Contracts Managersand Procurement Team to ensure projects are tendered effectively and deliveredon time and within budget.

·Building relationships with existingand new clients across all projects.

·Strategic planning and financialforecasts including reporting to Company Directors on progress of tenders, costanalyses and forecasts.

·Attending site visits and pre-salemeetings where applicable to ascertain tender requirements.

·Assist with the development of O&MManuals.

·Liaise with other internal departmentson project matters (H&S, Contracts Manager, Human Resourcing &Accounts).

·Ensure all standards relating to ISO9001,14001 and 45001 are upheld within your scope of work.

THE PERSON

·Degree/HND/HNC educated in a relevantfield or a time-served electrician

·4 years + Estimating experience,however, we will take into consideration the size and complexity of Contractsthat prospective candidates with less than 4 years’ experience have managed.

·Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.

·Working knowledge of Health &Safety Legislation.

·The applicant will be a fullyqualified Electrician or higher.

·Full computer literacy and able toconfidently operate our established estimating software package.

·Excellent analytical skills and ableto adapt to changing demands.

·Good negotiation skills.

·High use of initiative.

·Ability to meet strict deadlines.

·Full driving license

SALARY

The remuneration package will be basedon the scope of experience of the successful candidate and will therefore benegotiated with candidates at the interview stage. It will be a highlycompetitive package and in line with industry rates. It is envisaged it will bein the range of £40k - £45k although this is negotiable.

Hours of Work

Monday - Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm,Friday – 7.30am-3.30pm

Start and finish times are negotiablewithin the set weekly hours.

Additional hours required from time totime to meet project / company needs.
