Job Title: Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Currently West Molesey moving to Blackbushe Yateley in May 2024.
Probation period: 6 Months
Purpose of the job:
A Senior electronics Design Engineering role to work on military, instrumentation and acoustic systems. The candidate should have demonstrable experience and specific expertise in analogue circuit design preferably in a product development environment.
The work will involve mixed signal design including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing and analog-digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications.
Experience with microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software essential.
Some experience or knowledge of FPGA based circuit design and HDL is desirable.
The candidate will be expected to work independently on an task or overseeing a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development, prototyping and into production.
Candidate would be expected to produce design documentation and test specifications.
Practical skills would be desirable but not essential; IPC training can be provided.
The candidate will be expected to work independently or as a member of a team contributing to all aspects of the product development cycle from requirement analysis through design & development into production. Candidate would be expected to produce design documentation and test specifications.
Candidate will be expected to provide support for bidding/proposal preparation and planning as required.
Candidate must be UK only citizen.
Candidate must be suitable for SC security clearance with the UK Ministry of Defence.
