As a MEP Surveyor, you will have experience within the commercial environment

London and surrounding Areas 

Qualifications & Experience:

• HNC/HND level or equivalent qualification in a /M&E Surveyor discipline.
• Proven experience of M&E surveying.
• Experienced in analysing performance trends and identify risk.
• Competent in carry out root cause analyses, identifying not just the problems but also offering solutions.
• Knowledge in conducting MEP surveys.

About the role

• Providing advice and reporting on and control all commercial and financial aspects of projects and contracts, supporting the Project Manager & the Operations team to allow projects to be safely delivered on time and within the budget and providing the company with a profit margin.
• Maintaining relationship with both Sub-Contractors & the main Contractor, while providing inhouse support to our own Operations Team.
• Produce and send enquiries to subcontractors inviting them to tender and engagement with supply chain Receive and analyse quotations, liaising with Contracts Managers and Site Agents regarding price, proven history, availability etc.
• Monitor and control income and expenditure on contracts e.g. interim/final applications for payment/final accounts/payments for late monies etc. liaising where necessary with the relevant people e.g. engineers, clients etc.
• Produce and process formal subcontract documents and certify interim and final payments and final subcontract account
• Produce relevant monthly reports for the Commercial Manager e.g. cost and value comparisons, turnover forecasts etc. ensuring information is complete and accurate.
