As a Senior Electronics Engineer within the global Product Development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge hardware solutions for state-of-the-art cancer diagnostics products. Working in a collaborative environment, you will lead the development of embedded electronics, sensors, motor drives, and actuators that form the core instrumentation.
What will you do?
Lead design activities for circuits, PCBAs, and systems using Altium and PADS.
Drive problem-solving activities, Deriving Root Cause Analysis investigations.
Perform comprehensive engineering calculations, circuit simulations, and tolerance analysis.
Lead and drive multiple projects and design reviews with peers and project management
Implement agreed designs for release into production, including high-level assemblies and PCBA design.
Generate new concepts for products and circuits.
Use PADS or Altium to create, develop, store, and control PCBA designs and cable forms.
Generate engineering and verification protocols for components and assemblies to test and validate alternative sources of manufacture or production
Lead the engineering verification and validation processes, including the use of DFMEA, DOE, protocols, and reports.
Ensure changes follow regulations and standards including ISO13485, ISO14971, and ISO61010.
Implement and conduct testing protocols on components and assemblies.
Qualifications:
Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; Master's degree preferred with significant design-for-manufacture experience.
Experience in leading projects and teams in low-volume manufacturing.
Experience in design within a regulated environment.
Leadership qualities, including leading and developing engineers.
Expert knowledge in EMC design and debugging, FPGA development, embedded development, PCB design, and manufacturing.
Best practice understanding and experience of motors, power supplies, sensors, and actuators.
