We are working with a small-medium enterprise who are expanding their Test department and on the lookout for a Senior Electronics Test Engineer to join the team and lead from the front.
As an Senior Electronics Test Engineer you will be a vital link between the design and production departments and will actively contribute to test specifications, facilities, and processes. You will also conducting tests across a diverse range of equipment, ranging from in-service systems to unique one-off and prototype designs.
Senior Electronics Test Engineer Requirements:
- Broad experience with test equipment like Digital Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analysers, Function Generators, PAT Testers, Digital Multimeters, and Power Supplies.
- Ability to oversee multiple production test and reference facilities.
- Experienced in problem-solving and fault finding down to component level for both analogue and digital designs.
- Proficient in interpreting circuit diagrams, cable drawings, and parts lists.
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance and a Full UK driving license.
Senior Electronics Test Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform IPC level inspections of electronic assemblies to maintain quality standards.
- Execute formal test documentation, including result recording.
- Conduct electrical safety testing.
- Handle hardware, software, and firmware (programming) configuration.
- Prepare the test environment for accurate testing.
- Analyse test failures and determine remedial actions.
