SENIOR EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR

Hours: 30 hours per week
Salary: £28,369 - £31,317 pro rata per annum
Location: Eastleigh (West Hub) (combined with hybrid working)

About the role:
The role will involve working with the NHS TT Hampshire Employment Service Manager to ensure the successful and effective day-to-day management of the Employment Advice Service so that it provides a responsive, high quality service to patients with common mental health problems.
You will ensure that sufficient levels of referrals are received into the service and effective Employment Advice delivered. The post holder will work with a small caseload of clients but in addition will manage and support a team of Employment Advisors, leading on employment through training, coaching, raising awareness and championing on employment issues with the service staff team.
You will work directly with Job Centre Plus, employers and employment agencies to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities.
About you:
This would suit someone with experience of managing a team and providing high quality vocational/employment support and/or experience of working within an employee relations environment. If you have a sound understanding of the employment needs, barriers and difficulties faced by people with Mental Health conditions together with excellent IT skills, communication skills, both written and verbal this could be the role for you. The post holder will be required to complete the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement qualification (CAVA).
