We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Source Design Team working within out Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks business unit working. Working hybrid from home and the maple cross office, Hertfordshire.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – 12 month fixed term contract, flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll be working within the Source Design team within a business unit that concentrates on utilities and civils and capital project type work. In this role you'll be supporting them in delivering design schemes to our client at UKPN within the power industry.
Your day to day will include:
- Manage our UKPN framework (DNO, Distribution Network Operator) from a civil engineering perspective, working with a team of surveyors, civil engineers, and CAD staff to deliver design schemes to our client at UKPN.
- Process driven you will understand gateway design processes and work with our framework delivery teams to deliver approved designs to our framework teams.
- Oversee the production of the civils design, carrying out checks and signing off designs for construction.
- Management of design subcontractors when needed to deliver workload.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Civil Engineer is great for you if:
- Hold a Civil Engineering qualification to degree standard.
- Experience of working in a team environment at a supervisory level.
- Able to delegate and work closely with an internal team to deliver design packages.
- Ability to present design solutions to client articulating reasoning and design decisions made.
