Job Description
Key Responsiblities:
- π§π₯οΈ - Execute high-level ICSS & Application Engineering deliverables.
- ππ’οΈ - Work on national & international Oil & Gas projects.
- π‘π₯ - Provide technical solutions for clients.
- π€π - Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineering teams.
- ππ©βπ« - Train and mentor new team members.
- π£οΈπ€ - Interact with clients to understand their needs.
- ππ - Perform quality control on budget, schedule, and deliverables.
- πβ - Review and action engineering deliverables.
- ππ²οΈ - Ensure compliance with QA/QC policies and cybersecurity requirements.
- πΌπ€ - Assist in technical sales presentations.
- ππ° - Produce engineering estimates for bids.
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal Candidate:
- ππ - Degree in Engineering, ideally progressing towards Chartered Engineer status or HNC/HND with significant experience.
- πΌπ§ - Up to 5 years' (or 10 years' for HNC/HND) experience in ICSS roles, especially in the Oil & Gas industry.
- π₯οΈπ’οΈ - Strong knowledge in design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of ICSS applications.
- πΊοΈπ€ - Ability to work on multi-discipline projects and collaborate effectively.
- π¨βπΌπ§ - Demonstrated leadership skills and decision-making ability.
- β±οΈπ - Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- ππ - Good understanding of Networks, IT/OT Systems, and Cyber Security requirements.
- π οΈπ©βπ» - Hands-on experience with ABB INFI and S+ solutions, DCS/PCS, ESD, F&G systems (preferred)
- π¬π§β - Right to Work (RtW) in the UK.
- π π - Ideally located in or around Aberdeen.
