Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Engineer to join our team in delivering the Capital maintenance budget, in this challenging but highly rewarding managerial role. As Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward projects that enhance our city's infrastructure, sustainability, and quality of life for all residents. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-impact engineering solutions that address current and future challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct engineering assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
• Prepare and review engineering reports, designs, and specifications.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of sustainable engineering solutions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Participate in budget planning and allocation for infrastructure projects.
• Act as a subject matter expert in meetings, presentations, and public consultations
