Senior Environment Solicitor, unique role

A unique opportunity has become available for Qualified Solicitors/Barristers with environment experience to join a major Organisation in Wiltshire and support a major Programme and BAU activities with environmental and planning legal matters.

As Senior Environment Solicitor, you will report to the Head of Legal and provide legal advice, analysis and support to the business functions:

* Wide range of BAU environmental and planning legal matters;
* Assisting with legal aspects of water resource management
* Supporting the Water for Life Hampshire (and related) programme (this is a major programme that relates to water supply demands in Hampshire)

Person Specification:
* Qualified solicitor/barrister with post-qualification experience in environmental and planning law and practice (ideally not less than 5 years PQE, but other relevant experience would be considered).
* Previous experience working on environment and planning issues essential.
* Knowledge of statutory and environmental regulations within the UK water industry
